About the Winery
The wine and sparkling wine estate Gebrüder Anselmann is a family-run winery in Edesheim on the Southern Wine Route in the Palatinate wine-growing region. The estate cultivates over 100 hectares of vineyards and produces wines and sparkling wines from a broad variety spectrum in which white and red varieties are evenly balanced – including Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Dornfelder, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir. The value chain extends from the vine to bottling in the estate's own winery. Vineyard holdings include the Edesheimer Rosengarten, Edesheimer Mandelhang, Edesheimer Schloss, Edenkobener Schloss Ludwigshöhe and Flemlinger Herrenbuckel sites. The winery was the exclusive wine supplier to the German House at the Olympic Games in Sochi 2014 and Rio 2016 and has received Federal Honorary Awards several times. In addition, it operates a tasting stand open all year round, a tasting room and the fountain terrace for guests.
