Gebrüder Bachmaier Landmaschinen GmbH was founded in 1994 by Franz and Michael Bachmaier in Menning (district of Pfaffenhofen/Ilm) as a small repair workshop and is today an agricultural machinery workshop operating across the region with around 15 employees. The portfolio includes the sale and repair of tractors, front loaders and agricultural equipment, the sale of spare parts, as well as consulting and on-site repairs. In addition, the company designs and manufactures special machines and in-house constructions, including the Fällbach felling crane for felling problem trees, endlessly rotatable felling tongs for excavator mounting, transfer trailers for wood chips and bulk goods with a hydraulic blower, as well as the Airbach transport vehicle for helicopters and air taxis (eVTO). Further developments include disc harrows, crushing and screening plants, ditch mowers, star tillers and rapeseed presses. Wear-exposed components are made from Hardox steel. Customers come from agriculture and forestry, garden technology, municipal technology, hop and sugar beet technology. Since 2007 the company has been located on Schlierstraße in Menning with an exhibition room, sales area and spare parts warehouse; the company is a recognized training company.
