Gebrüder Heißerer – The Company

Gebrüder Heißerer Holzverarbeitung GmbH is a family business founded in 1959 and based in Prem in the district of Weilheim-Schongau. The company operates a sawmill and manufactures three-layer panels made of spruce, fir, and larch in raw, both-sides-sanded versions as well as coated variants with a melamine resin surface for concrete formwork and tent flooring. The panels are cross-laminated, with a continuous core layer and finger-joint-free edge-glued face layers, bonded with water-resistant AW 100 glue using Kauramin Leim 610. Formats up to 15.5 m x 3 m are possible; cutting, special widths, and special lengths are produced on request. Since 1997, sawmill residues have been processed into DINplus-certified wood briquettes without binders. Customers include masonry and construction companies, carpentry shops, joineries, and the events industry; the three-layer panels are CE-certified in accordance with EN 13986.
