About Jaeger
Gebrüder Jaeger GmbH is a development and manufacturing partner for textile and plastic-based components based in Wuppertal. Drawing on around 100 years of experience, the company manufactures products that fulfil core functions within its customers' complete systems: reinforcing, sealing, coating, laminating, gluing and joining. The product range includes, among other things, reinforcement tapes and patches, elastic tapes, seam sealing tapes, window sealing films as well as waterproofing membranes, sealing tapes, collars and decoupling membranes for tile installation. Manufacturing is performed with a high level of in-house production depth, including on CAD-controlled cutting machines for customer-specific two-dimensional shapes; this is complemented by coatings such as pressure-sensitive and iron-on adhesives, primers or latex impregnation. The company operates as a private-label manufacturer and runs an application technology laboratory for system testing at the Visitec Technology Centre. Served industries include the building materials industry, the footwear and leather goods industry, technical industry and automotive. From Wuppertal, international manufacturing and sales subsidiaries in Europe, the USA, India, South Africa and Australia are coordinated.

Materials & Processes
Polyamide
Highly tear-resistant, burst-resistant reinforcement tape for quarter and shaft reinforcements.
Polyester
Fine, flexible tapes and elastics with controlled elongation.
Synthetic rubber threads (elastomers)
Core material for elastic tapes with high force absorption and lasting elasticity.
Tencel (Lyocell/Modal)
Environmentally friendly natural fibre for eco elastics.
Polypropylene nonwoven (Typar)
Strong nonwoven for reinforcement tapes and sheet goods.
Linen
Natural fibre with high strength as an alternative for reinforcements.
Recycled polyester and polyamide
Made from PET bottles and fishing nets for sustainable eco products.
Biodegradable polyamide
Decomposes significantly faster than conventional fibres at comparable quality.
Film with nonwoven laminate
Carrier material for window sealing films and waterproofing membranes with variable SD value.
