Gebrüder Recknagel Präzisionsstahl GmbH manufactures cut pieces and semi-finished products made of tool steel as well as precision flat steel and distributes them via the Stahlnetz WebShop to commercial customers. The delivery program includes flat and round steel cut pieces to customer specifications as well as EDM blocks, VarioPlan, VarioRond, P-plates, hardened guide rails to customer drawings, standard linear sliding guides, and custom machine components. The product range is continuously expanded with specialty materials, including the matrix steels Daido DCMX, DRM1, DRM2 and DRM3 as well as the pre-hardened materials Toolox 44 and Toolox 46. Production takes place at the two plants in Hückeswagen (North Rhine-Westphalia) and Christes (Thuringia). Customers are found primarily in toolmaking, mechanical engineering, cutting and forming technology, as well as in the forging tools and die casting sectors.
