Facade construction with high vertical integration since 1919

Gebrüder Schneider is a family company founded in 1919, now in its fourth generation, headquartered in Stimpfach (Baden-Württemberg) and the largest production site of the Schneider Group. The company plans, designs, manufactures and installs building envelopes, facades and roof constructions for international commercial construction: unitized facades, structural glazing, stick-system (mullion-transom) facades, sheet-metal facades, double-skin facades, glass roofs as well as special constructions such as heated or back-ventilated curtain-wall facades. Aluminium, (stainless) steel, glass, wood, brass, natural stone, ceramics, terracotta, bronze, copper, zinc, fiber cement and composite materials are processed in-house. The high level of vertical integration includes computer-controlled woodworking, profile cutting, sheet-metal processing with punching, drilling and bending machines, MIG/MAG/TIG welding, structural steelwork, paint shop as well as final assembly including glazing. Reference projects with architectural firms such as Foster + Partners, Renzo Piano Building Workshop and Herzog & de Meuron range from Berlin and Munich to London and Luxembourg.
