About us

Gecos sagl is an engineering office founded in 2005, operating in the Swiss Confederation. In the field of forestry engineering and forest planning, the office manages integrated silviculture projects, silviculture concepts, forest reserve projects and forestry structures as well as measures for the prevention of natural hazards. In addition, the team prepares forest management plans, emergency plans, clearing applications, mappings of forest types and forest area assessments, as well as projects for the control of invasive neophytes and recreational forests. In the field of landscape and regional development, Gecos develops interdisciplinary projects for regional development and landscape enhancement in mountain regions, particularly in the areas of cultural assets, agroforestry, nature conservation, hiking and environmental education. The team comprises the founder and co-owner Raffaele Sartori (Ing. for. dipl. ETHZ), the co-owner Samir Tomamichel (Ing. civ. dipl. SUPSI), in office since 2025, as well as further technical and scientific staff. The business languages are Italian and German.
