About Geely Technology Europe
Geely Technology Europe is the unified European research and development center of the Geely Auto Group, with locations in Gothenburg (Sweden) and Raunheim near Frankfurt (Germany). More than 500 researchers and engineers from over 30 nations develop vehicle architectures there, such as the modular CMA platform as well as the SEA-S hybrid platform and the SEA-M platform for autonomous mobility. Further focus areas are safety systems and ADAS, virtual development with simulation and digital twins, e-propulsion systems, chassis tuning, NVH development, and intelligent software with connected-vehicle functions and over-the-air updates. The company also defines vehicle programs for the European market based on real customer and driving data. The CMA platform carries more than three million vehicles worldwide; all vehicles tested by Euro NCAP achieved five stars, including the 2025 Best-in-Class award. Manufacturing in the strict sense does not take place; the offering comprises engineering services for the brands of the Geely Auto Group.
