About GEFAS Elektrotechnik
GEFAS Elektrotechnik GmbH was founded on 01.07.2000 in Rettert in the Taunus region by Rainer Strack and Winfried Adletha. The foundation was the founders' professional experience as well as electronics products taken over from Passavant Werke AG. Today's core activities include the production of small and medium series of PCBs in THT and SMD assembly, the manufacture of electronic devices, small switchgear cabinets and mini control systems to customer specifications, as well as the new development and construction of electronic control systems. In addition, the company offers labelling as well as service and repair of its own or third-party boards including maintenance. The products are used in measurement and control technology, drive control, medical technology, rail technology, and as equipment for explosion-hazardous areas. The company's own product is the GEFAS 2008 warning system for light-liquid and coalescence separators, approved for the Ex Zone 0 area with ignition protection type Ex i. Since 2005, quality management has been certified to ISO 9001 by TÜV Rheinland.
