GEFASOFT Automatisierung und Software GmbH develops and manufactures turnkey special-purpose machines for industrial processes such as laser welding of metal and plastics, optical inspection and fully automated production lines. The range of services includes feasibility analysis, engineering design, software and control, image processing, process integration, commissioning as well as lifecycle support and remote maintenance. Mechanics, electrical engineering, software and process integration are designed, built and tested under one roof at the Regensburg site. Core products include laser welding systems, the A2A® plastic welding technology, laser cleaning systems, HUD inspection systems for head-up displays, the LUCON® light controller, the GCell PressFit joining technology for printed circuit boards and the Viper.NET® vision framework. With around 150 employees, the company supplies the automotive industry, semiconductor, electronics and medical technology as well as the water industry, and has completed more than 7,000 projects and installed more than 33,000 machine vision systems at over 290 customers.
