About GEH Wasserchemie

GEH Wasserchemie GmbH & Co. KG is the inventor and manufacturer of GEH®, a patented adsorption granulate based on ferric oxyhydroxide for water treatment. The granulated ferric hydroxide binds heavy metals such as arsenic, lead, vanadium and uranium as well as phosphate and removes them from drinking water, wastewater, process water, stormwater and groundwater. Production takes place at the headquarters in Osnabrück with an annual capacity of over 1,500 tonnes; around 190 million m³ of water are treated with GEH® each year. The company supports projects from plant consulting and design through piloting and commissioning to operational support, working with an international network of plant engineers and distribution partners. GEH® is used in 73 countries, including municipal drinking water plants, groundwater remediation and phosphate removal in lakes.
