Gehring-Bunte Getränkeindustrie GmbH & Co. KG is a German beverage manufacturer headquartered in Bielefeld. The family business, founded in 1895 by Franz Bunte in Gütersloh, began with the distribution of beer, lemonade and mineral water and was later continued under the name Gehring-Bunte. From 1934 to 2007, the company produced Coca-Cola for its own sales territory. Since 1966, mineral water, soft drinks, fruit juice and tea beverages have been sold under the Christinen brand; Christinen is one of the best-known beverage brands in German retail. The company is in its fourth generation of family ownership and regularly has itself and its products certified, including under IFS, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 as well as with the SGS seal for premium mineral water of organic quality.
