About Geiger Edelmetalle
Geiger Edelmetalle AG is a mid-sized family business based in Rötha near Leipzig, specialising in the trade and in-house manufacturing of products made of gold, silver, platinum, palladium and copper. At its own production facility in Espenhain – an industrial building from the 1930s saved from demolition – the company's own mint produces the cast bar and premium bar series “Geiger original” as well as the “Ark of Noah” bullion coin, a legal tender of the Republic of Armenia. Manufacturing includes melting in the company's own foundry with cooling water circuit, cast bar production from 0.5 g to 5 kg, custom minting of bars, coins and medals from small series, diamond engraving and printing of silver bars. Raw materials are sourced exclusively from suppliers certified under the LBMA Good Delivery standard. In addition, the company offers scrap gold purchasing with X-ray fluorescence analysis, safe deposit boxes to banking standards and precious metal storage. Locations are situated in Rötha, Espenhain, Großpösna/Güldengossa, Iggingen/Brainkofen as well as in Switzerland (St. Margrethen, Niederglatt).
