About Geiger Gruppe
Founded in 1923, Geiger Gruppe is a family-owned company headquartered in Oberstdorf in the Allgäu region, active along the entire construction value chain: from project development to demolition, environmental remediation and building materials manufacturing through to turnkey structural and civil engineering. Products manufactured include ready-mixed concrete, prefabricated timber modules and box girders made of glulam with unit weights of up to 16 tonnes; in civil engineering, waterproof concrete, steel sheet piles, plastic sealing membranes as well as epoxy and polyurethane resins are used. Processes include factory-based timber module prefabrication, concrete rehabilitation with ultra-high-pressure water jetting, crack injection, landfill sealing and photovoltaic installation. The service portfolio is aimed at healthcare facilities, school and residential construction, public-sector clients, landfill and wastewater operators, and the energy sector. In addition to Oberstdorf, locations exist in Sonthofen, Waltenhofen, Füssen and in the ready-mixed concrete market area.

Materials and Processes
Concrete / waterproof concrete
Used in structural and civil engineering and for earth-contact components, including CO₂-reduced cement variants and recycled materials.
Glulam / cross-laminated timber
Large-span box girders and load-bearing structures in timber system construction, up to 16 t unit weight.
Steel (sheet piles, beams)
Excavation pit shoring with embedment depths of up to 13.5 m as well as access walkways and load-bearing structures.
Epoxy and polyurethane resins
Crack injection and coating for structural rehabilitation, e.g. at wastewater treatment plants.
Plastic sealing membrane
Surface sealing to the DK-0 standard for landfill closures.

Quality
Project-specific quality inspections are carried out, such as concrete strength and pull-off adhesion tests as well as control work, e.g. using test fields for sealing work. The single-source responsibility for many trades supports uniform quality assurance.
