Since 1999, Geisberger Gesellschaft für Energieoptimierung mbH has been manufacturing combined heat and power (CHP) units, emergency power generators and components for biogas plants, including agitators, in Schwindegg in Upper Bavaria, and also builds small biogas plants. The CHP range covers outputs from 50 to 1,360 kW; the units are black-start capable, island-operation capable and emergency-power capable, and have been further developed over the last 30 years into a synchronized product line with high starting reliability for flexible start-stop operation. The service portfolio ranges from consulting and system design through in-house production and assembly to service and maintenance – all from a single source. In addition to energy technology based on CHP units, the company draws on around 15 years of experience in small biogas plants for a reliable supply of electricity and heat. Customers include operators of biogas plants as well as facilities requiring an uninterruptible emergency power supply. Qualification includes, among other things, TÜV inspection certification as a certified specialist company under WHG (Federal Water Resources Act) and a TÜV certificate under ISO 9001; the company also holds the BSFZ seal for research and development.
