About Geissler Präzisionsdrehteile
Geissler Präzisionsdrehteile GmbH, based in Bruchköbel near Hanau, is an owner-managed company of the Geissler Group, specialising in the serial production of high-quality metal turned parts. The manufacturing range covers micro turned parts, small turned parts and precision turned parts as well as CNC turned parts made to drawing in diameter ranges from under 0.8 mm up to 32 mm. Depending on geometry, material and quantity, CNC sliding-head turning, CNC fixed-head turning or automatic turning on Escomatic ring-type automatic lathes are used; the machine fleet comprises around 80 automatic lathes from Citizen, Esco/Escotec, Kistler and Star. Stainless steel, aluminium, brass (also lead-free), steel, copper and special materials are processed. A focus lies on precision turned parts for the electronics and connector industry, such as contact pins and socket contacts; further activities concern automotive parts. Supplementary operations such as bending, electroplating and assembly round off the range of services. With typical lot sizes from 10,000 parts, over 100 million parts are produced annually; quality assurance works with PPAP/EMPB (FAI) and documented inspection processes.

Materials and Processes
Stainless steel
Corrosion-resistant material for demanding precision turned parts made to drawing.
Aluminium
Lightweight material for turned parts in various series sizes.
Brass (also lead-free)
Non-ferrous metal with good machinability, a focus of electronics and connector manufacturing.
Steel
High-strength structural material for robust precision components.
Copper
Non-ferrous metal for electrically conductive components such as contacts.
Special materials
Customer-specific material selection based on application and function.
CNC sliding-head turning
Process-reliable production of long, slender turned parts in lot sizes from several thousand to several hundred thousand pieces.
CNC fixed-head turning
Economical production of short turned parts, typically from 10,000 parts.
Automatic turning / ring turning (Escomatic)
High-volume serial production of micro and small turned parts from brass alloys and non-ferrous metals.
