Geldmeier GmbH Bielefelder Kisten- und Palettenfabrik is an owner-managed family business based in Bielefeld that has been producing packaging from wood and wood-based materials since 1966. The portfolio comprises boxes, pallets and mesh boxes – from standard versions to custom-made products. Squared timbers, boards as well as OSB, plywood and chipboard are processed; on request the material is IPPC-compliant heat-treated (ISPM 15), which enables the delivery of export packaging for international transport. The offering is complemented by a mesh box rental service, the trade and rental of EURO pallets and mesh boxes as well as the purchase of EURO pallets, one-way pallets and mesh boxes. In addition, the company is an EPAL-licensed repair operation for EURO pallets and trades in wood, wood-based materials and wood wool. History

1966
Founded by Karl Geldmeier for the manufacture of boxes and pallets made of wood.
1981
Bernhard Geldmeier takes over as managing director; expansion with production halls and storage facilities; establishment of the EPAL-licensed repair operation as well as trading and rental of EURO pallets and mesh boxes.
1999
Daniel Geldmeier (3rd generation) joins the company in a management function.
