Gemeinhardt AG is an owner-managed family business from Oberkotzau in Upper Franconia that has been active as a specialist company for modern building and energy technology since 1967. The company plans, installs, maintains and sells heating systems (heat pumps, biomass boilers, gas and oil condensing technology), air conditioning systems, photovoltaic systems, solar thermal, electricity storage, wallboxes and bathrooms, and additionally provides a water damage service with leak detection, drying and hygiene measures. What began in 1967 as a heating installation business developed into a technology company that built its first own heat pump as early as 1975 and produced its own heat pumps in the 1980s. The service is delivered as a complete system across all trades: planning including heating load analysis, installation by in-house installation teams, maintenance and customer service as well as subsidy advisory. Customers are private individuals, commercial and agricultural businesses in the Hochfranken and Upper Franconia region. The headquarters with approx. 1,800 m² of operating building, exhibition and seminar rooms is located in Oberkotzau; the building itself has been heated since 2006 with a brine heat pump, an EVI heat pump and a pellet boiler.
