About Gemino Maschinenbau
Gemino Maschinenbau GmbH is a medium-sized, family-owned machining company based in Mühlau in Saxony. Since 1990, the company has manufactured machine-typical individual parts and assemblies to drawing for customers from general and special machinery engineering – as a supplier across Europe. The process chain includes cutting and material preparation, CNC turning and CNC milling, surface grinding, coordinated surface treatment, welding work and assembly. Ferrous and non-ferrous metals, cast materials and plastics are machined. The focus is on flexible production of small and medium series and, where required, also individual parts: turned parts up to 580 mm diameter and 350 kg unit weight, milled parts up to 700 × 1,450 mm, cut stock up to 400 mm bar diameter. The company is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and, since 2022, has relied on electricity from renewable energy sources as well as its own photovoltaic systems.

Materials and Processes
Steel (ferrous metals)
Machining on CNC lathes and machining centres, also as cut stock up to 400 mm bar diameter.
Non-ferrous metals (non-ferrous alloys)
Produced as cut stock and in CNC machining according to customer specifications.
Cast materials
Machining of castings in turning and milling operations up to large component dimensions.
Plastics
Machining of plastics for turned parts, milled parts and cut stock.
CNC turning
Turned parts to drawing from individual parts to series, turning diameter up to 580 mm, unit weight up to 350 kg.
CNC milling
Highly complex components up to 700 × 1,450 mm with precision in the micrometre range.
Surface grinding
Finishing up to 800 × 400 mm for the highest surface quality and dimensional accuracy.
MAG welding
Welding work at the MAG welding station operated since 2021.
Cutting (band saws)
Three automatic band saws cut steel, plastic and non-ferrous metal up to 400 mm bar diameter.
Assembly
Finished assemblies completely from a single source up to the tested unit.
