About GEMO
GEMO R.S. GmbH, headquartered in Krefeld, has specialised since 1922 in the development and production of flexible shafts, helix cables and speedometer cables. Core competencies further include the production of protective hoses, textile flocking, cutting and joining processes of cold forming, zinc die casting as well as injection moulding and overmoulded parts, the assembly of assemblies and its own sample and machine construction. Research and development of products, processes and machines takes place in Germany; manufacturing is carried out locally close to the markets via production facilities in Europe, Asia and North America. Customers come primarily from the automotive industry (OEM, Tier 1-3), industry and the aftermarket. Around 650 employees worldwide manufacture at all sites in accordance with the automotive standard IATF 16949. In addition to GEMO R.S. GmbH, the GEMO Group also comprises GEMO Industry & Service GmbH as well as subsidiaries in Poland, Mexico, China and India.
