About Gemündener Stahl- und Metallbau
Gemündener Stahl- und Metallbau Karl-Heinz Bock GmbH is a family business founded in 1985 in Gemünden am Main, which since 2013 has been run by the second generation under Markus Bock. The company manufactures steel and metal structures to EN 1090-2 in execution classes EXC1 to EXC4: industrial and hall construction, crane runways and platforms, bridges, conversion and renovation work as well as stair, balcony, gate, door and canopy systems. In-house metalworking shop and welding technology, machining including turned parts, corrosion protection, non-destructive testing as well as design and planning round out the value chain. The materials used are primarily steel and stainless steel. Reference projects include gallery doors for the Vianden pumped-storage power plant and components such as a ship arrestor for the Xayaburi Power Company in Laos, in part with 100% UT and MT weld seam testing and 3.2 material certificates. The production area is 1200 m²; projects within a radius of approximately 50 km are handled, including Frankfurt am Main, Fulda, Schweinfurt and Würzburg.
