GENA Massivholz Manufaktur is a craft business based in Nordrach in the Black Forest, specialising in thermowood and solid wood furniture. The company covers the entire value chain: its own forest properties provide the raw material base, and its own wood drying and thermal treatment with heat and water vapour produce Thermo Pine, Thermo Ash and Thermo Beech in its own workshop. From these, the company creates terraces including substructures and concealed fastening, wooden facades with rhombus, trapezoidal or tongue-and-groove profiles, privacy screens, outdoor furniture, sun loungers and pool loungers, as well as solid dining tables and one-off pieces made from a single log. With its GENA Vision division, the business addresses architects, object planners, hotels, thermal spas, gastronomy and municipalities, and handles complete outdoor facilities from planning through earthworks and foundations to on-site assembly within a radius of around 300 kilometres. The portfolio also includes playground and natural wood construction made from regional oak and chestnut.
