About Genan
Genan recycles end-of-life tyres (ELTs) into high-quality secondary raw materials. The fully automated, mechanical recycling technology separates tyres from passenger cars, vans, trucks, tractors and construction machinery into their components: 75 % rubber powder and granulate, 15 % steel and 10 % textile fibres. The product range includes rubber granulate, cryogenically ground micronised rubber powder, GENAN PELLETS as well as colour-coated granulates (GENAN COATED INFILL and COATED TOP LAYER) and finished rubber modifiers such as GENAN ROAD+ PREMIXED and GENAN RUBBER+ PREMIXED. Buyers are found in road construction, artificial turf and sports facilities, playgrounds, the manufacture of mats, floors and tiles, in paints, coatings and binders as well as among new tyre and steel manufacturers. The group operates six recycling plants in Denmark, Germany and Portugal as well as an innovation centre in Warwick, UK; the German subsidiary Genan GmbH is based in Dorsten. All plants are certified to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001.

Quality & Certification
Product samples are taken from every daily production batch and analysed in the company's own or an external laboratory; all measured values are documented for traceability. The granulation processes are certified in terms of energy and quality, and all six plants hold ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001.
