About GIP

General Industries Polymere GmbH (GIP), based in Kassel, is a service and production company in the field of NON FOAM plastics recycling. Every year, the company processes around 18,000 tonnes of plastics into single-type regrinds from the automotive and packaging sectors, in a wide variety of plastic types and colours. In addition to stationary grinding at the Kassel site, GIP offers mobile mills for on-site mobile recycling as well as separation technology for processing composite materials, container cleaning and full-service recycling services. An in-house laboratory ensures consistent regrind quality; loading is also carried out silo-based via the company's own silo facilities. As a recycling partner to the automotive industry, GIP specialises among other things in the processing of load carriers and supplies customers throughout Europe. Since 2024, the company has been active with its first recycling site outside Germany in Spain.
