About us
The Augstbordkäserei cooperative produces cheese in Turtmann in Valais from fresh daily raw milk from the cows of the farmers who belong to the cooperative. The main product is the protected-origin Raclette du Valais AOP Wallis 65, complemented by small cheeses (Hopschilti) and other variants, including an organic line. The raclette cheese is lactose-free and gluten-free when ready for consumption. Since 2012, municipalities from Zeneggen to Visp have belonged to the cooperative. The offering includes a sales shop (Chees & Meh), an online shop, a show dairy and cheese storage. The products have received multiple awards; among others, the Raclette du Valais AOP Wallis 65 won the Swiss Cheese Award in 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012.
