About Geochemie
Geochemie Sanierungssysteme GmbH, based in Taufkirchen near Munich, is the manufacturer and distribution partner of the TUBOGEL® flooding method, a 2-component sealing system for trenchless sewer rehabilitation. The method enables the long-term sealing of leaking, heavily branched, geometrically complex and non-inspectable pipe systems without the need for elaborate civil engineering works. The components TUBOGEL T1 and T2 are supplied in IBC containers and tested according to defined measurement specifications (density, pH value, conductivity); the method can be used with all common pipe materials and the corresponding damage patterns. The offering includes consulting, the placement of executing specialist companies, and the distribution of accessory products, with all products in stock and delivered within 24 to 48 hours. More than 200 specialist companies from the rehabilitation, pipe cleaning, civil engineering and filling station construction sectors apply the method throughout Germany; since 2003 the company has also been active in European countries and internationally beyond.

Materials & Processes
TUBOGEL T1 (sealing liquid, 1st component)
Sealing liquid with a specified density of 1.39 ± 0.05 g/cm³ and pH value of 11–12 as the first component of the flooding method.
TUBOGEL T2 (reaction liquid, 2nd component)
Reaction liquid with a pH value of 3.5–5.5 and conductivity of 0.8–5 mS/cm, which forms a solid gel body with T1.

Quality
The rehabilitation liquids T1 and T2 are tested according to defined measurement specifications using the Kombi 3 measuring device and a hydrometer, and the results are documented; tightness is verified by pressure or water level test. A prerequisite for every rehabilitation is a preceding CCTV inspection.
