About us
Geologie Weixelberger GmbH is an independent engineering office with around 30 years of activity in Austria. The company handles geological, geotechnical, hydrogeological and deposit-related issues. Services include subsoil explorations and subsoil reports, geotechnical opinions, foundation consulting, excavation pit support, site supervision and compaction inspections as well as the determination of infiltration capacity for the discharge of precipitation water. Further specialist areas are hydrogeology with reports for wells, springs and protection zone designations, dewatering and tracer tests, the prospecting of bulk raw materials, hydrogeological site assessments for climate-neutral geothermal energy (ground source heat probes, water-to-water heat pumps) as well as landslide remediation, rockfall simulations and environmental geology. The office was founded by Mag. Günther Weixelberger, who has been a court-certified expert since 2016; since 2023, Maximilian Rieder, MSc has led the company as second managing director. Areas of activity are Lower Austria, Vienna and Burgenland.
