About Geomation
GEOMATION GmbH develops and produces soil mechanics laboratory equipment, material testing devices and control electronics for drive and automation applications. The product range includes testing presses from 25 kN to 400 kN, dynamic testing machines, triaxial systems, shear apparatus, oedometers, pressure generators and field testing equipment for soil, rock, concrete, geotextile and general material testing. Mechanics, electronics, device-specific firmware and the PC software GeoDESC for measurement data evaluation are developed in-house; design is carried out with 3D CAD, and prototypes are produced by 3D printing and external CNC manufacturing. In addition to new manufacture, the company modernizes older testing machines via the UP.KIT retrofit set and offers a mobile calibration service for force, displacement, pressure and voltage, also for equipment from other manufacturers. Customers include geotechnical and civil engineering laboratories, equipment manufacturers and more than 15 public research partners. The company is located in Wilsdruff near Dresden.

Quality & Calibration
For calibrating its own and third-party testing devices, Geomation uses mobile DKD-certified measuring equipment and documents the results in test reports. Calibration is carried out computer-assisted for the quantities force, displacement, pressure and voltage.
