Georg Herzog GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1970 by Georg Herzog and is today run as a family business by his sons Guido Herzog (Düren-Konzendorf site) and Jörg Herzog (Düren-Lendersdorf site). With more than 30 employees, the company specializes in the processing and machining of metal and operates as a contract manufacturer and supplier for machine and plant builders. Its service portfolio includes CNC turning, CNC milling, conventional turning, and welding of structures up to a single weight of 40 t with a crane capacity of 2 × 30 t. The company's own design department takes over customers' CAD data or supports them from the very beginning of the overall process. Through the subsidiary Herzog PM-Komponenten, machine components for paper, board and cardboard machines, spare and wear parts, refurbished ready-to-install used plant components, and raw material machine pulpers are delivered, including assembly and commissioning. Customers come from high-voltage engineering, automotive, the chemical industry, and the paper industry.
