Georg Rösner Vertriebs GmbH was founded in 1986 as an organic import-export wholesaler in Straubing (Lower Bavaria) and has been producing organic confectionery for over 30 years. The range comprises around 80 items, including organic fruit gum, organic licorice, organic marshmallows, foam sugar confectionery, sugar-reduced as well as vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free products; fruit gum accounts for the largest share at approx. 70 %. Production takes place at audited contract manufacturers from raw materials sourced through long-term cooperation agreements, without artificial flavors, colors or flavorings. At the Straubing site, packaging is carried out on 3,000 m² of production and storage space on four packaging lines in various pack sizes; around 100,000 bags are packed and shipped daily. Products are distributed via food retail, delicatessens, organic supermarkets, health food stores, natural food stores and pharmacies in Germany and Austria; the company also offers private-label production and a factory outlet.
