About us
Georg und Heinz Petry OHG is a family business in Herborn-Merkenbach that has been manufacturing and reworking drawing tools since 1942. The company produces carbide drawing dies with bore diameters from 0.20 mm to 60.0 mm as well as split carbide cores, extrusion dies, coating dies for electrode manufacturing and special carbide tools. In addition, drawing dies, coating dies and extrusion dies are polished and reworked. Production is carried out in carbide (tungsten carbide); precise, mirror-polished bores are intended to enable longer service life in modern production. Customers are companies in the wire and cable industry in Germany and abroad. The quality management system is certified by DQS GmbH to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and BS 18001.
