About GEPRO
Since 1965, GEPRO Geflügel-Protein Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG has specialised in the development, production and distribution of poultry proteins and fats. Only Category III poultry raw material is processed. The processes include spray drying, the wet-rendering process and production in the low-temperature range with gentle heating and sterilisation. The products serve as a highly digestible protein source in pet food and aquaculture, as well as a raw material for pig nutrition, the biofuel industry and oleochemistry. As part of the PHW Group, GEPRO is an element of a fully integrated poultry production operation and therefore offers a high level of documentation and traceability along the entire value chain. The headquarters are located in Diepholz (Lower Saxony) on around 50,000 m²; in 2018 a further plant in Bogen (Lower Bavaria) was commissioned, which is directly integrated into the Wiesenhof slaughterhouse DONAUTAL. Delivery takes place worldwide, with international shipping via a warehouse at the Weser port in Bremen.
