Gerald Jordan is a certified waste management company based in Berlin that specialises in the collection and disposal of cooking fats and cooking oils of vegetable or animal origin. Founded in 1999, the company with three employees serves the gastronomy and food production sectors in Berlin and Brandenburg and operates under the brand names FettFEUERWEHR and FettTAXI. Its range of services includes the provision of suitable fat collection containers in sizes from 50 to 1000 litres as well as collection on demand or on an agreed schedule. The collected fats are forwarded to appropriate processors and there converted 100 % into biodiesel, with which the company contributes to the production of alternative energies. The process is free of charge for customers. From its location in Berlin-Reinickendorf (Amendestrasse 12), owner Gerald Jordan serves his customer base together with a freelance employee.
