About Germa GmbH

Germa GmbH, based in Renningen near Stuttgart, specialises in custom hydraulic cylinders for mechanical engineering, mould making, toolmaking, jig and fixture construction and plant engineering. Founded in 1965 and owner-managed in the third generation, the company has been manufacturing cylinders since the mid-1980s and, in addition to custom special cylinders, offers a standard programme to factory standards: block cylinders, hollow piston cylinders, screw-in cylinders, built-in cylinders, spring tension cylinders as well as accessories such as pressure pads and groove nuts. The entire value chain, from design through machining on automated turning and milling cells to assembly, takes place in the company's own production. Block cylinders achieve operating pressures up to 500 bar, piston diameters from 25 to 125 mm, strokes up to 100 mm and forces up to 614 kN; NBR and FKM are available as seal variants. On request, Germa handles call-off orders including stockpiling of components and seals as well as the supply of spare and wear parts. Data sheets and CAD data (STEP) are available for all standard products.
