About the German Biotech Database
The German Biotech Database is an information platform with data on life sciences companies and institutes in Germany. The aim of the database is to provide a comprehensive overview of the life sciences, biotechnology, medtech and pharma sector in Germany. The platform is operated by Venture Valuation AG in Zurich and is provided on the basis of the Biotechgate database technology. The offering includes database search for identifying partners in the German biotech, pharma and medtech sectors, the Life Science Map for site search, Life Science Statistics with an analysis of companies by subsectors, as well as Digital Partnering and Lead Sourcing for life sciences. In 2019, the German Biotech Database was linked to the online company directory of the Healthcare Export Initiative, which comprises around 3,500 company profiles from medical technology, pharmaceuticals, digital health and medical biotechnology; the database partner is BIO Deutschland.
