About German Engineered Cigars
German Engineered Cigars was founded in Hamburg in 2016 and develops flavor experiences for premium cigars. The company first designs a complete sensory blueprint (aromatic journey) and then has master blenders implement the blends according to its own specifications. Each cigar is a hand-rolled premium longfiller, manufactured in the Dominican Republic (Tabacalera La Isla, master blender Hostos Fernandez) and in Nicaragua (among others Tabacalera Gelado/Tabacos Tropical, Estelí). The tobaccos used come from, among others, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Pennsylvania and Indonesia. The portfolio includes RVGN Rauchvergnügen, RVGN Extrem, Kraftwerk (Dominican Republic) as well as Raumzeit and Weltschmerz (Nicaragua) in formats from Panatela to Gordo. Technological unique features are NFC chips in all cigar bands (blend info and personal cigar journal without an app), the pharmaceutical-grade blister packaging AKUT (10 cigars in two blister packs) and the precision-made paper box Aero Box (25 cigars). Distribution via specialist retail and online partners.
