Geru-Plast Verpackungs GmbH is a film manufacturer based in Hersbruck (Middle Franconia) and has been producing plastic films from polyethylene since 1978. The product range includes tubular films, half-tubular films, gusseted tubing, flat films, shrink films as well as bags, sacks, shrink and pallet hoods, protective covers and blanks made from them. In Plant III, films made of PE and PE/EVOH are produced by extrusion, which are also suitable for direct food contact applications. In addition, the company offers co-extrusion products (AMI Coex) as well as special products such as agricultural stretch film, BIO films, electrically conductive ESD films, vacuum bags, air cushion film and separator films. Customers come from the food industry, the packaging industry, agriculture and technical applications. Production follows an in-house quality management system; the company is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 50001 and HACCP and maintains extensive warehousing capacity for short delivery times.
