GESAU-WERKZEUGE Fabrikations- und Service GmbH (external brand: Gesau Technology) is an owner-managed medium-sized company based in Glauchau, in the district of Gesau, in the industrial region between Zwickau and Chemnitz. The company is a specialist for cutting and gearing tools and develops, manufactures and reconditions rotating precision tools made of high-performance materials such as solid carbide (VHM), HSS/PM, cermet and CBN. Its range of services includes the development and design of special tools, series production of precision tools on state-of-the-art machines, regrinding of broaching, gearing and shank tools of all kinds, as well as decoating and recoating for maximum tool life. In addition to gear hobbing cutters of all dimensions up to quality class AAA, cutting, shaving and peeling cutters up to quality class AA are reconditioned. A pick-up and delivery service directly to customers' production facilities rounds off the offering. From more than 250 completed customer projects, productivity increases averaging 25–30 % have been achieved.
