About Muhr
Muhr is an owner-managed family company based in Brannenburg in Upper Bavaria, founded in 1959 as a manufacturer of milling plants. From the experience of traditional grain processing using water power, the two business divisions BULK and HYDRO evolved. In the HYDRO division, Muhr manufactures hydraulic steel structures, hydraulically driven screen cleaning systems (including HYDRONIC, CATRONIC, RO-TEC, HYDROCON), cooling and process water treatment, wastewater engineering and fish protection systems. In the BULK division, the portfolio includes loose-material loading systems, loading mobiles and loading telescopes, mixing technology for bulk solids and wagon tipplers. All products are developed and produced in Brannenburg and accompanied from concept development through to on-site implementation. Muhr supplies companies in the energy, chemical, food, cement/lime/gypsum and plant engineering industries as well as mills, and has realized more than 5,000 projects worldwide. Production and quality management are certified to EN ISO 9001:2015.
