About Geukes GmbH

Geukes GmbH in Bocholt is a medium-sized contract manufacturer of machine parts and assembled components to customer drawing. The company, with just under 40 employees, machines steel and castings on CNC and conventional lathes, milling machines, 5-axis machining centres and boring mills; parts up to 4 m in length and unit weights up to 10 t can be machined. In its own metalworking shop, welded constructions (MIG/MAG/TIG) are assembled, welded and stress-relief annealed before final machining on the CNC machines. Most orders are produced in small series of 5 to 50 pieces, often also single units. Processes such as hardening, nitriding, gear cutting, grinding or shot blasting are coordinated by Geukes via audited partner companies; in cooperation with foundries, the company handles the complete process from model making through casting to machining of castings. Customers come from mechanical and plant engineering, including gearbox manufacturers, rolling mill technology, forging technology and manufacturers of coffee roasting systems. Since 2019, owner Dr.-Ing. Gereon Schäfer has been driving digitalisation forward with an ERP system, CAD-CAM programming (SolidWorks, CAM-Works) and tool management, and runs the company as a lean-organised service provider.
