About GIP
The Gewerbe- und Industriepark Lindenstraße GmbH (GIP) is a 100 percent subsidiary of the City of Fürstenwalde and was founded in September 1992, primarily to develop the Lindenstraße site. The company leases and sells offices, practice rooms, halls, storage rooms, parking spaces and commercial building plots at various locations in Fürstenwalde. As a project developer, GIP acts as an interface between project sponsors and the municipality: it develops, remediates and designs sites, renovates buildings and accompanies new business settlements – from project planning and costing through to redevelopment and site development. In addition to managing its properties, GIP provides a modern conference area for events. Its fields of activity also include land management, contaminated site management, residential development and urban development. In this way, GIP supports companies, start-ups and economic development at the Fürstenwalde location, which lies between Berlin and Poland on the A12 motorway.
