Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Cologne, Geyssel Fahrtreppenservice GmbH is a medium-sized company for escalators, moving walkways, elevators and loading technology. The group produces new installations and retrofitting solutions for escalators and moving walkways, using steps and pallets made of aluminum as well as steel components; steel steps receive a special corrosion protection, and welding work is carried out by certified specialist welders according to DIN EN ISO 9606. In addition to manufacturing with a capacity of up to 120 units per year, the portfolio includes maintenance, repair, upkeep, modernization, fire protection cleaning, gear oil changes, as well as expert inspections and DGUV tests. A spare parts warehouse with over 100,000 parts from all manufacturers ensures rapid supply. The company serves shopping centers, railway stations, airports, hotels, healthcare facilities as well as residential and commercial buildings and, with six locations in Germany and one location in Austria, operates on more than 30,000 m² of industrial space.
