About GFK/tec

GFK/tec GmbH was founded in 2006 and specializes in the processing of glass-fibre reinforced plastics (GRP) for technical, industrial as well as water and wastewater applications. At its own production facility in Worbis, the company manufactures GRP sheets, semi-finished products, moulded parts, custom parts and system components on around 3,000 m² of production space – predominantly using the manual lay-up process with controlled laminate build-up. For precise cutting of individual geometries, a waterjet cutting system is available. Based on prefabricated GRP base panels, the company offers the DIBt-approved rehabilitation systems SYSTEM GFK-TEC (in-situ laminate) and SYSTEM GFK-PURTEC (polyurea coating) for the rehabilitation of sewer pipes, manholes and chamber structures. Its customers include municipalities and public-sector clients, engineering offices, executing construction companies and industrial operators. In addition, GFK/tec offers training courses for the qualification of skilled personnel in accordance with DVS 2220.
