About the Gfrörer Group
Gfrörer & Sohn GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized family company based in Empfingen, Baden-Württemberg, active in the building materials and construction trades since 1924. The company operates its own crushed stone plant with a loading capacity of around 1,000 tonnes per hour in 24-hour operation, a concrete plant for computer-controlled production of ready-mixed concrete, and production lines for precast concrete elements and fertiliser limes. Aggregates from shell limestone, dolomite and natural stone as well as recycled building materials are processed through single to triple crushing and tested in accordance with EN 12620 or EN 13043. In addition to building materials production, Gfrörer acts as an executing contractor for earthworks, civil engineering, drainage, demolition, landfill construction and sports facility construction. With around 450 employees, its own fleet of approximately 80 vehicles and more than 15 truck mixers, the group of companies supplies customers in south-west Germany – from Karlsruhe via Stuttgart to Konstanz. Customers include construction corporations, industry, municipalities, sports clubs and private individuals.
