About GftK
GftK – Gesellschaft für technische Kunststoffe mbH has been developing, producing and distributing mortar systems for paving and slab installation since 1971. Under the vdw brand, the product range includes bedding mortar (drainage mortar), jointing mortar for natural stone, concrete and ceramic surfaces, low-dust special jointing sand, coloured traffic surface coatings as well as special products such as Fughilfe (jointing aid), FugenFlex and SplittBinder. Production takes place mainly in Germany; the systems are based on cement-bound and trass-containing formulations, epoxy resin technology (2K) and polymer-modified dry mortars. Applications range from private patios and garden paths to heavily trafficked surfaces in landscaping and civil engineering, including in accordance with DIN 18318 and ZTV-Wegebau. In addition to production, the company offers technical consulting, planning tools such as consumption calculators and product planners, tender texts and video tutorials. Headquarters, development, production and sales are located in Rheinbach-Flerzheim near Bonn.
