About GfU GmbH
GfU GmbH – Gesellschaft für Umweltmesstechnik – was founded in 1995 and operates in the field of gas measurement technology. The company plans and installs stationary gas warning systems with gas warning control units and measuring sensors and commissions them for customers. Portable gas measuring devices such as single-gas and multi-gas detectors as well as calibration stations are sold, rented and leased. Another core business is regular maintenance of stationary and portable gas measurement and respiratory protection equipment as well as personal protective equipment against falls – on site at the customer's premises or in the company's own workshop in Potsdam. In addition, GfU offers consulting, supply and instruction on safety equipment within the framework of the Güteschutz Kanalbau (quality protection sewer construction) standard, as well as training and instruction on occupational safety, risk assessment and explosion protection in its own training centers. Besides its headquarters in Potsdam, the company operates a branch in Großmaischeid near Koblenz and is active nationwide in Germany with mobile training centers.
