GGL Metallverarbeitung GmbH from Lüttgenrode is an owner-managed specialist in steel construction for custom-made products. Founded in 1992 as a pure metalworking shop, the company was expanded to include its own joinery and is already in its second generation of family management. On more than 2,600 m² of production space, the team of over 20 produces metal constructions of all kinds as well as street furniture for outdoor design: from canopies, waiting shelters and railings to litter bins, waste containers, bollards and barrier systems through to custom bench series. Wood processing uses FSC- and PEFC-certified sawn timber, so outdoor objects such as benches and shelters can be made from demonstrably sustainable forestry. Customers come primarily from the fields of outdoor design and street furniture; the product range also includes bicycle parking systems, tree protection systems, grating, ball-stop fences and streetball hoops.
