About GIA
GIA - Gesellschaft für Ingenieur- und Apparatebau m.b.H. is a manufacturer of plastic containers and apparatus founded in 1969 and based in Buchholz-Mendt (Rhineland-Palatinate). The product range includes plastic containers (round containers, rectangular containers, troughs, chutes, lids), apparatus for water and air treatment and for the chemical industry, exhaust air scrubbers, neutralisation systems for condensate from condensing boilers, shaft structures made of PE-HD and PP profile-wound pipe (DN 800 to DN 3600), seamless pipe bends, measuring gas heat exchangers made of PTFE, glass and stainless steel as well as test bells for leak testing of welded seams and containers. Production is carried out in PE-HD, PP, PVC and PTFE by certified welders according to DVS guidelines; shaft structural analysis is performed according to DVWK-ATV A 127. The company is certified as a specialised operation under §19.1 WHG and certified to DIN EN ISO 9001. Customer-specific custom designs, in-house leak testing and on-site assembly round out the production offering.
