Gicklhorn GmbH Kunststoffverarbeitung, based in Albershausen near Göppingen, has been active in plastics processing since 1977 and is one of the specialists in the processing and machining of thermoplastic semi-finished products in Germany. The company processes sheets, pipes, solid rods, profiles and welding wire into customer-specific containers, chemical storage tanks, piping systems, apparatus, plants, linings and custom constructions. The processes used include plastic welding, bonding, GRP laminating, thermoforming/deep drawing, bending, sawing as well as milling and turning of plastics, wood and aluminium. Production is carried out in-house from planning and design through structural calculation according to DVS/DIBt to final inspection, assembly and leak testing. Customers include, among others, the construction industry, the chemical industry and wastewater treatment. About 80% of the products are customer-specific custom solutions tailored to individual requirements for shape, size, colour and material.
