About GIEBEL
GIEBEL Group GmbH, headquartered in Bretzfeld (Baden-Württemberg), distributes desiccants and adsorbents for industrial applications through its brands Poresphere® and Cagesphere®. The product range includes silica gels (including food-grade white silica gel per E551), molecular sieves of types 3A, 4A, 5A and 13X, and activated aluminum oxide, tailored to different temperature ranges and humidity levels. Products are offered as loose granulate in grain sizes from 0.5 to 5 mm, as desiccant bags from 1 g to 500 g, and in custom solutions. Typical applications are the drying of plastic granulate, use on power transformers (silica gel breathers), adsorption dryers for compressed air, packaging with food contact, and the protection of electronics. In Germany, more than 200 tons of desiccants and adsorbents are kept in stock; for quantities from 1 ton, bulk offers with discounts are provided, and specialty products are delivered in about two months. The group is represented with its own companies in Germany, Italy, the USA, China, Hong Kong and India and serves customers internationally.

Poresphere® Silica Gel
Amorphous silicon dioxide with high adsorption capacity, usable up to 100 °C and above 10% RH, also with color indicator; white silica gel is suitable for food contact.
Cagesphere® Molecular Sieve
Molecular sieves with defined pore sizes (0.38–1.0 nm) achieve residual moisture in the ppm range, are usable up to 250 °C and also filter gases.
Poresphere® Activated Aluminum Oxide
Very robust and durable, usable up to 200 °C and above 20% RH, especially for gas and drying applications; also available impregnated with potassium permanganate (KMnO₄).
